Kicker motor for Adventure ?

During my off season, I would like to find a used kicker motor for my 2000 Adventure. Is shaft length an issue ? Will a standard small hp tiller outboard work ? Thanks for any tips or advice, Bill

I'd go with at least an 8HP. For your boat a short shaft should be fine.

Short shaft. cool.. I was thinking of 9.5 - 15 hp.. Guess whatever I can find.. Them lil suckers are still expensive.. Thanks..
