Boat is a Shamrock 27' I.B. 9000# Conditions, 15mph winds, currents 2-4 mph. Can't get the same answers from Yamaha direct or the other motor dealers. Honda said "don't waste the money" Merc was confident that the 25 big foot would work. Another felt I needed 40 hp . Local Johnson said stay with a 30hp 2 stroke because of less weight but brace and mount on the swim platform .Anyone been there ,done that? Mahalo
