I’m planning on mounting a kicker mount today. I’ve never done this before. So looking for any tips.
Ive heard mounting on the port side is preferred. But my fish finder transducer is there. The manufacturer placed a speed sensor on the starboard side. I’m thinking I’ll put the kicker on the starboard side too. Some things I’m worried about
making sure the motor sits low enough but still reachable to easily manage. (It is a long leg). I’m also worried about making sure if I turn it that the prop won’t hit the lower unit of my outdrive.
