Kicker Motor Setup

For those of you who use kicker motors, do you use the tiller to operate them or do you have them connected to the console steering?

Best to connect them to the Main Motor, if money allows! If not, just get a tiller, it will get you where you're going!

I would have it connected to a rod to the main motor, so you can use the other controls to stear it, but have the tiller so if the stearing fails you can still use that as stearing
