Kicker trolling motor advice please

I have a Bay Stealth 24? center console boat with a Yamaha 225 HP outboard engine.

Currently my engine powers the boat at about 3.2 mph in idle ? too fast for effective trolling. It has a front mounted electric trolling motor that is good for calm water casting but not really the solution for trolling for hours and hours.

My notion is a small kicker with some type of transom plate mounting and a connection to the main engine steering apparatus.

I live in a rural area and there are not any ?real? boat dealers nearby for me to work with on this issue. I am having trouble locating solutions as I search.

So?
? Is my idea feasible?
? What equipment for mounting and steering control do I need ? it would be appreciated if brand names could be used.

Thanks for the link Bob. I just ordered the Stearns kit. Unfortunately is was OOS at iBoats so I had to get it from Amazon. I'll post how it works out when I get it and figured out how I'm going to connect it up.
