Have a small item for my '84 Johnson 70 that is broke. It is the
plastic outer part on the safety kill switch. My engine is model #
J70TLCRD and serial # J5980520.

The part is the plastic piece that the cord connects to. Where the
cord connects is kind of triangle shape, then there is a circle with a
parallelogram in it with an M inside that - or if you look at it
upside down - a W. I just noticed that the crimp on the cord says
Seron MFG co., but I think they are just a lanyard manufacturer.

So maybe the kill switch is just an aftermarket kill switch that
Johnson or the marina put on? The switch is black and it is on the bottom right of the throttle box facing the driver.

Anyone know where I might find this part?

Thanks

Jeff
