I've resolved my ignition wiring and all seems well. What's left is the kill switch. I have a kill switch with 4 terminals, 2 M and 2 C. Can anyone tell me which two terminals on the kill switch I attach to which 2 terminals on the ignition switch? Thanks for all of the help.

Re: Kill switch wiring

If its a magneto system, it would be the 2 "M" terminals.
Give us the model number of your engine, that will help those who can help you.

Thanks. The engine is a E90TLCOS
The kill switch that I have is generic and as I said has 2 C and 2 M terminals.
The ignition switch is the standard Evinrude/Johnson push to choke.

Mike... I don't know what kind of Kill Switch you have with four (4) terminals.

However, with the kill switch in the mode whereas the engine would be running, find the two terminals on the switch that are open.

Then with the kill switch in the mode whereas theignition would be killed, find the two terminals that would be closed.

When you find the two terminals that coincide Open and Closed (the same two), those would be the ones you need.

One wire from the black/yellow wire terminal of the ignition switch to connect to one of those kill switch terminals. Then a wire from the other kill switch terminal to ground. That's it.

Same scenario. Find the two wires on the kill switch that are open when the kill switch cap lanyard is connected, and closed when it is pulled off.

BTW.... Formerly from Millville.
