Kill Switch

When the boat dont start on the ramp, be sure to check the kill switch before you do anything. Anything like pull to the top of the ramp and spend an hour diagnosing what the problem could be. Especially if the rig ran fine the last time and all you did was wipe down the boat real good in prep the day before and maybe ran the cleaning towel across the lanyard a time or two.

Not that I would know or anything. :rolleyes:

not all boats are created equal. i'd be searching for more than an hour looking for my kill switch. mine didn't come equipped with one... great advise if ya got one though.. ;)

mine broke just as we were backing into the water one day...and you can bet i didnt have a spare. I rigged one up with the help of the local marina mechanic and got thru the day. now, we definitely have a spare:D. i felt stupid, everyone looking at me, waiting for the boat to start and we have to pull it out of the water instead. even the ranger asked me what was wrong with it haha.
