Hi hope someone can help, can I remove the kill switch from a 7.5hp 1976 mercury as I have no spark i would like to make suer its not the kill switch ??

Ayuh,... It just grounds out the ignition,... Test it with a multi-meter, insteada unhookin' it...

Ayuh,... It'll be an open circuit, til ya push the button, then it's a closed circuit...
