I bought a new Silverwave 22' Pontoon with a 115 hp Suzuki mounted on it. I noticed that that the kill switch had no effect when the pin cord was pulled from it! I'm ok with that, seems it would be hard to fall out of a pontoon. But now that darn beeping and flashing light telling me it's time for the 20hr. oil change is about to drive me crazy and going by the service instructions I cannot get it to clear!! Any help will with this will be greatly appreciated. I hate to drag it to a shop just to clear that buzzer.

Is this normal for Suzuki? Drive you to drink until you do what they want? OR, is this a problem w the motor? And these are warnings?

I have no clue, just throwing it out there :noidea:

Seems a little excessive for an oil change is all, but if the service instructions say it's normal(but then how do you then disseminate between the two types? Hmmm), then I'd cut the freaking wire to the buzzer if I "can't clear it" and had too I suppose. But I'd be making extra extra sure it was in fact just an oil change before I did it!!!

Now is it the red wire or the blue wire? :boom: J/K, either will kill it, but I assume it's doubles for a engine problem warnings as well? Won't want to run it too long like that then eh?

I have no clue what is normal for Suzuki, but in reading the service instructions it describes the oil pressure light flashing followed by two beeps when it is reminding you to change the oil. (like a Toyota Tundra) If it is a real oil pressure problem it will shut the motor down. Instructions given tells you to pull the cord, turn on the key and pull the switch three times to reset. Obviously that doesn't work! Just wondering if any body else out there has a solution for this. I have several years warranty on this, so I guess I drag it down to a service center. thanks for replying
