I have a 1998 Evinrude 90HP. Model number E90TSLECM. I got it last month and it supposedly sat for 2 years. I cleaned and rebuilt both carbs, replaced impeller and housing. New fuel pump. All new fuel lines. New spark plugs and wires. New battery. Spark on all cylinders. Haven’t gap tested spark plugs yet. 90 psi +/- 2 psi on all cyclinders. It runs on muffs but when in test tank or in water on lake it will not run. I pulled the spark plugs today to do compression test and noticed the spark plugs from the top 2 cylinders looked practically new when the bottom 2 looked normal maybe a little rich. Maybe the top 2 cylinders aren’t firing and only running on 2 cylinders. From what it seems the top 2 cyclinders feed from the same carb. Not sure if it’s a fuel issue or not. Hope someone has experienced the same thing and can help me out. Thanks! - Aidan
