Some of you may of heard of the passing of
Stu Hart last week. He is the head of Calgary's
world famous wrestling dynasty. His funeral was
today. I had the pleasure of meeting him several
times and even enjoyed a dinner with him and his
lovely wife Helen who passed away in 2001.
He ran Stampede wrestling until WWF bought him
out in the early 80'S.
The dungeon is a little darker now. :(

Yes it is NOSLEEP.

You know that a big part of him went out the window when Bret died.

That family has had it's share of deaths to young people, with Davy Boy Smith, Bret and Owen.

It is a sad day in the wrestling world. :(

I went to Owens funeral SBN, I talked with
Bret at a hockey game a few months ago. Davey boy
leased a car from me years ago. Stu had many
friends and the wrestling world owes a great deal
of its popularity to Stu and his family.

Sorry snapper, Davey Boy died in June of 2002 from what they are saying as a heart attack, but he was a frequent known drug user so who knows, he was 39 I think,

Bret is still kicking, my bad, but not doing much nowadays.

The sport is a shameful display of what it once
was. Although when Stu was young its roots
evolved from a circus routine. I remember as a kid
enjoying Stampede Wrestling and all the different
characters especially Andre the Giant.
