Hello, Paul.

Welcome to the board.

This is a boat question, so I will move it to the Boat Questions Forum. I think you will get better help there.

Good luck. :)

Welcome aboard Paul,

I don’t think Kingfisher is still in business. There is a guy in the bass club I fish with that has a Kingfisher boat. The boat is fairly fast with a 70 hp Johnson on it.

Re: KingFisher boats

A buddy of mine gave me one with a 50 Mercury. I had to repair a split in the keel, but otherwise it is in decent shape. The motor is a 1980 with only 50 hrs on it. I was just curious where it came from and/or made.

Paul Spencer
Dallas, Texas

Re: KingFisher boats

Paul, I recently attended the Fort Worth boat show and having owned a Kingfisher in the past, I couldn't help but notice a Kingfisher boat that reminded me of the 70's. Well, apparently the company is still trying to stay in business, because I was told that they are re-releasing the '156 Fisherman' that they sold in the 70's.
I believe the show in Fort Worth is still running this weekend if you would like to talk to the rep.

Good luck,
olmerc
