sorry wrong spot. :p Hey I'm going to Litchfield for the weekend and wanted to know what you thought about the fishing there? I have been going for the past two years and the only thing that I have seen are Flounder. And with the creeks filling in like they are it's getting even harder to do that. Is there anything else to fish for in that area. I have a 14foot john boat with a 15hp down there but I have a 17ft centerconsole that I can bring down if I thoought there were some other fishing that is good in the area. Just don't know where or when or how (what to fish with). Can you help a fellow fisherman out. And if anybodyelse out there has a suggestion let me know

I really don't know much about the fishing there (or anywhere else), but there are atleast 2 Hunt & Fish clubs that I know of - Caledonia and Heritage, both in Pawleys (about 5 miles south). And you can also put in at Huntington Beach State Park or Murrells Inlet. There's a lot of fishing done out of there and Georgetown (south about 15 miles) with easy access to the Atlantic. And, altho I've never done it, there are access points on the creeks leading to the ICW off Sandy Island road right across from N. Litchfield. So lots of access, but I don't know much about what to fish for or with. But I imagine it's no different than any other place on the SE coast. And mellow - litchfield is in SC about 30 minutes south of Myrtle Beach. It used to be the most beautiful stretch of sand - but quickly becoming over developed. neuvo-rich. It's sad really, but guess it couldn't stay that way forever. We've been there for 30+ years.
