I have a Kohler gent, after running for about 20-30 min it shuts off with an error "ec 69".
Where should I start ?
Thanks

Re: Kohler gent error "ec 69"

EC 69 is Oxygen Sensor Switching Fault.

Disconnect the O2 sensor and ohm across the wires. If the reading is not between 24 and 28 ohms, the sensor is bad.

If the resistance falls in range, the problem is likely to be a bad wire between the controller and sensor, or less likely, a bad controller.

This controller is very expensive, so if the sensor and wire test OK, you are best off getting the set to a Kohler dealer to have the board tested.
