Back in 1998 we bought a Select Comfort Air Mattress System. King Size, dual control. It has been a real back saver for me. Love it.

In about 2005, the pump started giving us trouble. Leaking down. We called the company, they walked us through diagnostics on the phone. They determined it was the pump and sent out a new, quieter pump, which was an upgrade originally. No charge.

Now, we have one of two mattresses going flat, during rhe night. Similar issue. Called them up again, they again walked us through the diagnostics to see if it was a pump valve or the mattress. Turns out to be a mattress issue. They're sending one out. Since it's out of the warranty period, they are only charging us $100.00. Far less than buying the part outright.

All of this great service for a nearly 14 year old system. Kudo's-Select Comfort. I would definetely buy a new system if I had to. Highly recommended.

Fourteen years is a long time for a company to stand behind their product. You're getting great service.

On a similar note, yesterday while in the process of preparing my bathroom for repainting, I broke the glass globe on the 22 year old Broan-Nutone fan & light unit. I thought that was it, I was in for a big replacement job but I went online and was shocked to discover that I can still get the globe I need. It's made of plastic now instead of glass, but that's better anyway (for me)!

I was looking over the unit while searching for a Model number and saw this: Made in USA.

Got the new mattress/insert. We installed it and all is fine now.
