L-Drive, Water coming in boat only when engine on

I have a 90hp Force L-drive, I bought this boat as a project. Rebuilt the engine and gearcase and got everything running, engine runs great now.

Only problem is i cant take it off the trailer to go for a spin.

I can stick the back end of the boat in the water on the trailer and no water will come in the boat. But as soon as i start the engine water starts coming in the boat around the base of the engine somewhere. Almost looks like coming through one of the shock mounts.

I figure is has be something to do with the water that the water pump is pumping because like i said the water only comes in when i start the engine.

any ideas?

well you is the only one there with the eyes to look ..hands to feel and all the other ways to solve it ..sounds like its on the pressure side of the pump...you had it out so you know whats under there that might leak....
