Labor Day - its just another day of labor

<br />thought i'd take a break. here is what is happening on my side of the holiday<br />

<br />and then got the new ujoint installed on one side. then realized it would break off the zerk(thanx skinny) fitting... soooooo- hadta stop and get a cold one to decipher my progress. then another one as i thought about it longer... now i've lost my brew cause the phone rang, and the house is deserted! no wife, no child, nothing. i must have been bangin the hammer & missed it all... <br />

<br />and if you saw my brew- er, i mean my garage, you'd understand so this is it, i thought i should share it with my budz here... i plan on finishing this sometime soon... <br /><br />i did finally get the ujoint flipped, and i'm moving ahead again. yehaa, i'm gonna drive this thing before the week is over

LOL Ebb you must of had more than one brew. Unless those square boxes with red x's in them are what you wanted to post. Glad to see you are doing your best to enjoy the holiday even though you had a nasty chore to take care of.

you aint kiddin, so far today ive made breakfast, went shoppin, chopped a gigantic watermelon into one gallon baggies O ice cold treats, including one gallon of which is going into the freezer for one of my infamous experiments, I want to see if the frozen cubes will macerate into a watermellon sorbet slurpee<br /><br />made hamburgers with finely minced onions, spent a half hour fanning the damp charcoal briquets into lighting, took the rest of the meat and bar b qued a meatloaf (the kids favorite, and since its barbequed, mine too, its too good this way, lol)(mequite coals are just too good to waste on a mere couple of burgers!)<br /><br />got the printer back on line, am trying to figure out the internet connection ( I have to get back to Ralph in a few mins)<br /><br />and of course, all those rinds (and the rest of the trash) have to get out to the street, tomorrow is trash day<br /><br />and I Still have to repackage the keilbasa, the chicken brea ... chicken knockers, and the center cut pork chops<br /><br />and I really should go over and take the lugs off of the van so all I have to do is take one lug off each when the tow guy comes to drag the thing away<br /><br />and water the tomatoes<br /><br /> ... sheesh! and put the grill away, clean it out, wash it out, scrub the grate<br /><br />labor day is right!!!<br /><br />at least my day is going better than Jerry Lewis's!<br /><br />HEY LADY!!!!!<br /><br />LOL<br /><br />

Ebb....you and me gots the same work ethics. Can't be done without a brew. We gotta get together for a day of..........work.

i don't know how i'm gonna fix the front axle on my 4wd now....(jeep) i just cannot & refuse to work on it under these conditions<br />

<br />my - no - her dog left a present there. not just anywhere, in his 13yrs of experience, he decided to be thoughtful & find a spot of newspapers. those newspapers happened to be right under the front right side where i laid them, with my tools, to catch any grease, oil, dirt while working on that side of the axle. now i just dunno, i really had a hard time when i found it, just after eating...<br /><br />i hope hooty sees this, and i hope he just ate a bowl of veggie soup - getting payback for the hip replacement pics!!! <br />

<br /><br />i'm not feeling like working tonight- maybe it'll be dried up tamale.

i do apologize for any untoward bodily reactions. my wife almost cried from laughing at me... i can skin harvested animals, but this is a diff story. it is just barely over the line from baby burping on the shoulder to me...
