All I can say is "MARDI GRAS IS NOT FOR SISSIES"<br /><br />It poured down rain and thundered and lightening but the revelers were out in number and it didn't stop those of us on floats. All 22 floats participated. We were drenched before the night was over then attended the Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras party under the Palapa at the restaurant who sponsors us. It was an enduro to say the least. I did have my share of brewkies and unfortunately had to work the next day. Hopefully I'll recover before the weekend.
Yes, I got plenty of beads y'all. But most I acquired the weekend before last when we were parade watcher's and not participants. Although a few other floats did throw some beads my way come to think of it.
