Re: Land and sea prop

Ok so Got the new prop to shift finally but I have to use tons of trim and cant give the boat anymore then half throttle or it will bounce off the rev limiter thinking I need a different set of cams so it will shift faster. Kinda driving me nuts been on the water for 3 hours setting pitch changing springs and cams. Anyone out there got any suggestions.

Those props are trouble. They work properly for a short while, then start screwing up. They require constant adjusting to keep'em working. They are more trouble than they're worth.

It was an experiment that didn't turn out well. Maybe that's why they're out of business?

The video demo was performed after much fiddling and adjusting to get it to finally work right long enough to make the video.

From the linked website:

NOTICE: we have discovered that the factory that made our last cams mislabeled the X with the ZZ. If your boat revs rapidly then cavitates, it probably has the mislabeled ZZ cams and should have the correct ZZs. If the boat bogs and doesn't take right off, it may have the mislabeled X cams. Email me for availability. It will take 3-4 weeks. If you can remove the cams, send them to me and I'll send the correct ones ASAP. Bob M.
