Las Vegas ??

I just bought this boat and can't seem to find any info on the Manufacturer. It is a Las Vegas 1969 17' 140 Mercrusier I/O. Tri Hull open bow on a Lil Dude trailer.

Any ideas or info would be helpful

Pretty slim, but:

Sidewinder Marine also produced and sold a line of models marketed as Las Vegas Boats.

From the FG Library

I didn't see either Las Vegas Boats listed at the USCG Manufacturer's list

The name plate has the Los Altos address but as of yet I can find no information on them
Sidewinder Boats did make mostly race boats but did make some Tri Hull's.I may find something thru them.

Hi Jonny, I have a 71 Las Vegas Sahara, See the post by "rebeljim, have some pics of her! Las Vegas was a division of Sidewinder!
The tri hull came in 3 styles. 16', 18' (17) as outboards and an 18' I/O. There is not much info on them. I have found 3 others like mine still sea worthy and still running and have found pics of 3 other Sahara's as "project"boats.

This one is a1969 17" with a 140 Mercruiser . I thought that the Las Vegas and Sidewinder boats may be the same company with two different building sites.
Mine needs some interior work and some mechanical work but not to much.
