Can someone help me. The boat Iam thinking about buying has a 75hp Mercury. It is a 4 cyl. the guy says he thinks 1989. the serial #A115806. I was looking on NADA the last one I seen made with the 4cyl was 1986.<br /> THANKS

1986 and the starting serial number in 86 was A197882 so it is not even a 86

Last year for 75hp 4cyl was 1988 (starting at B249480)<br /><br />Serial A115806 would be 1985, as Laddies pointed out.
