Good Day,

I'm curious if my remote tank EFI/MPI fogging mixture from last year can be used this year? Or should I make a fresh batch?

If I need to make a fresh batch can I add the old mixture to my fuel tank and burn it up? 2000 7.4 GiPEFS SN:4012007343

Thanks in advance!

Make new.
You are mixing up only 1 gallon aren't you?
This year, mix a gallon, use what you need, and pour the rest in the boats fuel tank. That bit of oil will not even be noticable.

Thanks Don!

I think last year I made 2 or 3 gallons, not sure why I made so much? Can I pour that old mix in the tank and burn it? I have a 50 gal tank. I'll only make one gallon this year...

I would not recomend pooring that old fuel in the tank. Fuel gets old pretty fast. No worries for the oil but the fuel part has gone bad.
I had fuel in my boat that was 2 Years old when bought it . and the engine barrly ran on it. I took some of it out and put a lighter to it when the flame hit the fuel it started to burn very slowly. So i had to throw away about 40 gallons :( Ofcourse it gets old faster when in a vented tank insted of a fully closed but still gets bad.

Thanks,

I thought it would be find due to the fact the mixture has fuel stabilizer in it, and diluting 2 gallons in 50 wouldn't be that big of a deal.

hummmmm... now what to do with old fuel?
