Late 1960's Merc 110 9.8HP - Questions

A couple of quick and painless questions. My repair/spec manual only goes to 1964.

Does the 1967-1969 Merc 110's still have points and condensors?
Approximate Weight of the motor?

Any major shortcomings of these models one would need to know before picking one up? Examples - overheat easy, design flaws, etc.

I'm retiring my Sears Ted Williams and want something old enough that has points/condensors rather then a very expensive stator/CDI setup.
