Re: latest flats project

Last year I did a 15'6" ebbietide bass boat, split the top deck off, gutted it out.Installed new stringers, built new decking for the top of the boat, built a center console W/live well,(insulated with foam, icechest in the front deck(insulated)Poured foam inbetween the new floor in bottom of the boat.Ran pvc piping thru out the boat for wiring, shift cables, steering cables, livewell pump hoses.Alot of planning went into the job that one can't see.
Alot of work went into her, paid $700 for the boat,motor(75hp with 5 hours on the rebuild) and trailer.Cost after rebuild was another $500.This boat turn out supper nice, great for skinny water.Bad thing is,I don't get much time to use it now that I have my sportsfisher dry dock for a total rebuild this winter.Rain rain and more rain for the last 3 weeks.
One thing that I did was apply the gelcoat after the top deck was built, used a nap roller. What it did was give it a non slip texture.
