Skipping work tomorrow 4/4.<br /><br />Since I do not yet have my downriggers installed, I might just clamp one somewhere and hook it to the battery.<br /><br />I wish I could have gone out on Wed, as it was in the upper 70's.

Boy I wish I lived in the south.<br /><br />Have had only one day on a weekend without rain.<br /><br />Maybe get a chance to get something done this weekend.<br /><br />Suppose to have showers on Sat., but nice on Sun., high temps only in the 50's.

Pending ice out date, was looking decent here until 2 days ago-turned cold again.Average ice out date is somthing like april 20-25th round these parts. looks like best we can hope for know is maybee week early if weather turns decent soon.<br /><br />I'll be glad to see the ripples on the water again and would hope to be out within first week of ice out, got a new rig I got to put thru the paces.<br /><br />As I look out the window its snowing and temp is bout 27 degrees not expected to change much for at least 5 days.

Hopefully launch by end may, in time for the warm weather mid july, before the cold fall weather arrives mid sept. Going down to -7 tonight

As soon as I get that **(^(*^ steering linkage delivered and installed. Hopefully I will not have to take a day off from work but even if I do I am going out that day!!!

Only one thing stops my boating, physically. The launch itself was only iced over for a month or two. If I thought 4X4 could get me over that ice hump, i was boating. My boating season here in northern Michigan is 9 or 10 months!<br />Craig

Ice out for launching was June 1st last year.<br />But usually it is 2nd week of May at my favorite<br />fishing hole. Some of the smaller lakes at lower<br />elevation should be open late April.But are closed<br />to May 7 for fishing.I'm still ice fishing for a <br />while yet!
