lawnboy model and serial number location?

I have a lawnboy gold series walkbehind mower with estart and rear propelled.it has the 5hp commercial grade 2 stroke motor and all aluminum deck.where in the world is the model number and serial number? for the life of me I cant find it.nothing wrong with this beauty as I got it off a friend who accidently ran straight gas and seized it ,so he went and bought a new mower and threw this one in the junk pile.well to make my story short I took it home ,took the plug out ,rapped the piston with a hardwood dowel and away she went.offered to give it back as repair time was 1 minute but he wouldn't take it back so ive had it for 3 years trouble free now.mainly want to know when it was made .im quessing 1990,s as the dealer is gone since then where they bought it.on a side tangent I use to have a white omc lawnboy with the famous d-400 2 stroke until I ran it over and flattened it .boy was I mad .that little 2.5 hp 2 stroke would cut grass as thick as all getout and used almost zero gas.my green bomb is excellent on fuel also.

I got mine at a yard sale for $3.00 !!!!! Cleaned the plug, she runs fine.

It works great to mow the ditch along the front acre, turned half way on it's side, doesn't care at all. The 4 strokes don't like that ditch at all.

Mine has a decal on the rear behind the motor. The model and serial #'s were inked on, not stamped. As I wiped the dirt off to read them it wiped off the ink. No one has identified my unit and it is a ***** to start without the primer button. I have to pull the air cleaner and give it shots of pre-mix to start it, and again, and again, until it builds enough heat to stay running. Once going she works great.

thanks I found the tag .it is under the dash for the throttle etc.1997 model.
