I am a novice on laying out fiberglass/wood floor ...Redoing floor in bow area of my bowrider and had a heck of a time laying fiberglass cloth/mat down...I wanted it to be really secure so I am trying to lay cloth/mat and resin on top and bottom of repair seams of floor..I did top with no problem.... wet down board first with resin then laid cloth/mat on top..smoothed out resin on cloth until cloth appeared "clear"..added a couple of more wider layers on top of it repeating above steps...My problem was I wanted a real good re-inforcement on BOTTOM of new to old floor connection as well..Fiberglass cloth/mat stuck to everything but the board.(gravity is tough).
,,,Is it REALLY necessary to do bottom of board?Thanks,Pete44
