Re: Layout or Pictures required..Searray 190 CC
Gardner, That boat looks very much like my 1988 19' SeaRay Sorrento bowrider(except the bow, of course). My boat was red-maroon, and came with three color (Grey, maroon, red) vinyl seats and cushions. The very rear of the boat had an L-shaped cushion which covered the storage area for the navy top. There were two back to back seats(driver, passenger) and jump seats in the rear, between the motor cover and the gunwales. The top of the motor box was padded in matching vinyl. The jump seats could be put on a higher support to create a sun lounge of the motor box pad, jump seats and the navy top cover.

The motor box had a recessed fold up teak and plastic table, and built in teak drinkholders. The skiwell had a teak cover. The 35 gal aluminum gas tank was in a floor well just infront of the engine. It had a carpeted, plywood cover(it apears that the remains of that is front left in your picture). The drivers dashboard was the same shape as the passengers. The instruments were recessed into a panel in the same spot as the glovebox door and front. All instrumentation was marked with the SR logo, as was the motor aircleaner cover. The closest gauge to the original in appearance was the Teleflex-Morse Vector Series guages. They have the blue accent on black faces that is similar to the blur-green SR on the original. The steering wheel was black, and was rack and pinon. The controls are the single lever, black, recessed side mount, with a thumb toggle switch for trip, in the handle and the trailer button below it.

I recommend you check the hull under the ski well for strength. In my boat this area had a 3/4" piece of plywood, about 2" wide that served as the keel and supported the floor of the ski well. It rotted out and I got a dent in the bottom, when I put it up on blocks. Also, my boat seemed to suffer from some quaility control issues. Some area of the hull were very solid, others were a bit thin. Likewise, the plywood floor had a thick "chopgun" layer in some areas, and only a thin coat of resin in others.

Good luck in the restoration.
