lead additives or octain boost in fuel

I have a 1975 Chrysler 90hp model #907hb and I found the original owners guild to the motor and it said to use leaded fuel and on occation you can use unleaded but not all the time. and what about octain boost or gas treatment?

Howdy.<br /><br />In 1975 unleaded fuel was not very good stuff.<br /><br />Today it is much better and you can use it without concern.<br /><br />Octane boosters and gas treatment are bad for 2 stroke engines. Don't use them.<br /><br />Good luck.
