I feel like I fix one issue and another pops up. Guess BOAT really does mean "Break Out Another Thousand".

Noticed today while visiting family the bilge pump kept coming on. Thought the plug was missing or bad. Nope.
took a video and water is leaking from somewhere in the red circles on the pictures attached. Any idea what this could be? Bring it into a marina or something I might be able to fix myself?

Only when running?

On muffs and in the lake?

If you did a video, is it drippin there or bubbling up?

Pretty much anything can be owner fixable. Question becomes what tools, experience with said tools, and how far into it you're willing to dive.

Could be a number of things. My first suspicion would be shift bellows. Next uni bellows, then corroded exhaust.

But without knowing what we're looking at, it's just a guess...

Make, model, year and serial number please sir....

where do I find the S/N?

Engine - on the engine casting, down by the starter motor (small aluminium plate)
Transom - At the top
Drive - on the 'Mercruiser' decal on the port side of the top housing of the drive.

All the serial numbers will have the format 0, then a letter, then 6 numbers. (have a look in my signature to see what mine look like)

I'd tilt the drive up crank the steering full left and do a visual inspection of the bellows on your shift cable, then the ujoint bellows. Don't worry about the exhaust bellows - it doesn't seal water out..
