Hi all, I had a lower unit leak (from center of prop) last summer. It was cream colored (milkshake looking) indicating there was water mixed with the oil. I replaced the prop shaft seal and it ran great all Summer-no leaks. Now I notice I have a leak again but it is just the clean looking dark blue/green gear oil leaking out in front of the prop. So it looks like oil is now getting out but water is not getting in? I thought I read somewhere there is a "two way" seal which can let the oil out when it fails but while the engine is running the unit is pressurized preventing water from getting in. Can someone point me in the right direction? Should I have the lower unit removed and replace all the seals and o-rings? It's a 2004 Volvo Penta SX-M. I don't believe its ever been repaired/rebuilt other than the seal I replaced but it has had the gear oil changed every season. Thanks, Charlie
