I have an 88 16' SEA NYMPH wich I have only used three times. Each time I went out there was no water in the back where the bilge pump is and all the while I'm out there is no water. When I load it on the trailer and pull the plug about 25 gals. of water runs out. I have gone over the hull very carefully and can find no bad spots or loose rivets. Does the styrafoam under the deck absorb rain water and then seep out? When I go out again I plan to plug the inlet and outlet for the livewell. Is it likely that the lines to the livewell or the well leaks? The well looks fine but I can't see the lines cause they are under the deck. I just don't understand why I can't see water even when the boat is on plane and then all that water comes out later. Any ideas on how to find the source of the water?

Re: LEAK???

.Lite liner, When I have a customers boat with a leak, I advise them to have the boat loaded on the trailer with the plug in and fill the boat with about six inches of water. NO MORE. Then go looking under the hull for the leak. Fish wells <br />can have a leak problem in the hose that drains out of the hull. Have fun. nevjb
