I pulled my drive on my merc 120. I had the unit resealed by a shop. Due to oil and water in the drive bellows. I got it back about a month ago and have no time to put in it.
It is stored laying down on its side
It has started to leak, by the part that slides into the gimbal housing.

I called the shop that did the work they said that since its stored on its side it WILL leak.

Is that true???

Better explained where its leaking

It's leaking in the area from around the big nut that u take the entire unit apart
Sorry no pictures.

Thanks

no, the drive should not leak any lube once properly sealed - no matter how it is stored
