Thought it was water at first, but noticed a small pool of liquid below my outdrive. Pulled the cover and can see it's coming from the shifter shaft (which makes sense, because I've been having a hard time getting it in and out of gear lately).
Looking for guidance as to parts required for a minimal repair...looking to sell the boat and while I appreciate that pulling the outdrive might be the best solution I really need to stop the leak and lower the cost of the sale with the caveat to the new buyer that there is some deferred maintenance due on the outdrive.
Pictures attached - is this a DIY thing or are special tools/knowledge needed?
