So I've taken my new used boat out a couple times now and everytime I bring it back I see some liquid on the floor . I don't see any holes in the power steering reservoir ... Where else can it be leaking from .IMAG0085.jpg

There should be a rubber seal in the cap that can get old and wear out. Check that. Also, check the hose where it goes into the resevoir. That can also wear out.

If the resevoir was cracked the unit would leak consistantly as well.

ok just looked, there is no seal under the cap. i kept tighttening hard and it must not be making the seal ill get a seal in there and see if that fixes it.

thanks a lot

normally the level is about an inch below the cap with the drive all the way down.

well it looks like it might be over filled then because the drive is down and the fluid is almost to the top

No wonder it leaks. the bottom of the seam in the reservoir is the full mark.
