Leaking Trim Clyinder

I has a small leak at the rod end wiper/gland seal on my Volvo Penta out drive trim cylinder. I found the product "Blue Devil Hydraulic Leak Stop" on the internet. Has anybody had any experience with this stuff? Does it work and would it damage the trim pump? Is there another product available that can be used to eliminate this leak?

Do yourself a big favor and rebuild them. The kits are around $100.00+/-. (one kit does both cyl.)
