Hey guys,
I have a aluminum fuel tank that is leaking from the top where the sending unit is mounted. The unit is mounted by a small round plate with screws to hold it down. There is also a rubber gasket between the tank and the plate of the sender unit. I have one screw that just turns and won't tighten. I installed a larger srew but this one never seems to tighten. The gasket needs to be replaced and some how I need to get these scrws tight. Any advise on gasket material and how to get these scews tight would be appreciated.
Thanks
Stoked

stoked not,

The gaskets can be had at almost any marine store/dealer. They are pretty much universal.

You will probably have to tap the screw hole for a larger size screw.
