When I let off the throttle and start to plane down, my Searay 22OV leans to the right hard....I am running an Alpha one 4 bladed aluminum prop, and a flat trim tap. I don't remember when this started happening, but seems accesive to me.Any thoughts ?

What do you mean by a flat trim tab?
Does this mean you have trim tabs as in 2 of them or something else.
If you have trim tabs, stop the boat and see if the one on on the port side (left) is still down. If the tab is down then this is the issue. If you do not have trim tabs check to see how your boat is loaded, you may have to much weight on the starboard side (right).

OK,
The boat does NOT have the trim tabs as you may think.Obviously I did not make this situation clear.
The boat does it , no matter how loaded it is. 1 , 2, 0r 8 people. It happens all the time while planing down.
The Trim Tab I am refering to is the tab (fin) on the rear of the outdrive, NOT the tabs many larger style, or cruiser boats have on the outmost rear sides of a boat.
And NOT the trim rams used to lift and lower the outdrive.
I suspect it is the 4 bladed prop adding the extra torque.

Re: Leaning Hard Right

Sounds like you have a hydrofoil type fin on the outdrive, they go by stringray, doel-fin, and othe names.
Classic | Stingray Hydrofoils by Marine Dynamics - The World's Best Hydrofoil Stabilizers
Doel-fin Hydrofoil Stabilizer | Bass Pro Shops

A 4-bladed prop will give a boat more lift, not necessarly more speed. If your drive is coming out of the water then with a boat like yours it will start to tip in direction of the prop spin, your prop is going to the right (clockwise). I have the stringray type on my 23 footer and it works very well with a heavy boat. On a light boat there can be issues, and a 4-blade prop will cause other issues. The hydofoil is designed to lift the stern and a 4-blade will do the same thing. I would suggest taking the prop or the 4-blade off and see what the change is. If you have a pic of your setup this may also help.
