LED or Incadescent handheld spotlight?

Looking for best choice spotlight handheld to occasional pick out shore features on remote lake. 12 volt rechargeable and waterproof would be nice. I see 2 million plus ratings for incadescent and 120 lumens for LED?????? How do you compare them?
