Leg extension

I think I need a leg extension for a 1968-69 55hp.
props just passes below transom. If I do, where can I find one?
sesarch for days, no luck.

You're going to need the drive shaft, Shift rod and water tube extension. Plus the extension.

I wonder if a 1970 Chrysler 55Hp would fit.

I have a '70 Longshaft that I want to make a short shaft. And they tell me the same thing. Take out the extension, remove the slip on water tube, and get a short drive-shaft and shift rod.

If they are interchangeable would you be interested in a trade?

I found one close to home.
but I did see smoe short lower units on ebay Motors.
