Leg lowering under load

Hi everyone More problems with new boat, The leg on bravo 3 lowers by itself under way could this be air There is no oil escaping from the rams at the back of boat and the reservoir is up to level Thanks in advance Henry

Got some more details? Drive serial number, year, type of trim pump (Prestolite/Oildyne ect)... Your problem sounds like a leaking valve inside the pump, or a internally leaking ram 'O' ring, but without know WHICH pump.... Can't give more details...

Hi leg no is om194100 Year 2004 There is no oil leaking out any where Oil is clean If I stand on leg it goes down Have checked the pump and it's lot letting buy Do you think it could be cylinder seals

The oil pump has some check valves in it that keep the rams in the position that they were set. Probably the pump needs repair or replacement.

Thanks for the link Will connect both pipes and check This should tell me if it's the pump or the cylinders

hi all
sorted the problem, there was a nick in the seal on the floating piston, have replace the seals in both cylinders anyway and all is fine
