leg problem

hi
ok so i can get the engine to start,but the leg is allways in gear (forward).i hit something and now cant shift gear what should i look for to repair?
i have an in/out alpha 1

Ayuh,.....

Pull the Outdrive,+ see if it's the Cable, or the Outdrive itself.........
