Last week I borrowed BIL snowmobile trailer. Had to take DW trike in to town about 45 min away. On the way the wheel bearing went. Managed to limp to get it to a garage. Told it would be don by the end of the day. Just before 5:00, I went to the garage and they had forgotten about the trailer. The garage asked me to go buy the parts to save time and money. Managed to get the parts at a near by auto parts store.
To make a long story short got the trailer fixed. Since it was near the end of the day the "service advisor" helped connect the trailer, and I left. About 3 min down the road I thought I should double check since I didn't remember latching the trailer, since the advisor did it.
When I pulled over and double checked the coupler latch was undone. Since it was a small trailer it was very bouncy with no load on it. Luckily I found it in time and no damage was done.
