I'll be the first to admit what a rookie I am at this boating thing. At 56, this is my first boat ever and I've had a very interesting three months getting it ship shape.
Yesterday was the big debut and all was well for the first forty minutes or so. It ran very well and, after being so neglected for the last five years, I was quite (pleasantley) surprised.
And then it started bogging badly. Could only get 1800 rpm for exteded periods and then it would take off again and run fine.
Bottom line, with free standing six gallon tanks that are able to bounce about, be sure to check that the hose doesn't get kinked to the point that it restricts flow! Problem solved thanks to the keen eye of my son-in-law.
Also many thanks for all the help from the good folks here on the forum. Greatly appreciated, I could not have gotten this far without your generous offers of knowledge.
