It will maintain better value then any other bike.<br />Parts availability. Years down the road replacement parts will be available.<br />Styling. Often copied but never duplicated.

You don't have to explain to me, I,ve owned seven Harleys in the last 25 years and my total selling price was more then my total buying price, so It actually PAYS to ride Harleys.<br /> **************************************<br />OMC

Muskeyone, Yep a 72 is an AMF. The price all depends on the condition. If it is in real nice shape 7k is not unreasonable. If your thinking of buying it take it to the local bike shop. They should be able to give you a good idea of the overall condition.

Here's a foto of my Dodge Tomahawk. It has the 8.3 liter engine, developing about 500hp. It goes from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of about 300mph. It's a real fun ride. (I'll bet!!)

That Tomahawk is an interesting peice. There are a few very innovative thingys, like the four articulating wheels, not to mention the cramming of a V10 in it! That 300 mph speed is purely mathmatical theory. I have not heard of anyone getting on the thing. But there are also several things about the way its built that suggest it is for show only, if you study it a little you will see that anything past 70 the wind would probably peel you right off the back. Not to mention the torque, My autoshop instructor saw them rapping on it at some odd show, and he said the guy was standing and holding it up while he revved it, and it was all he could do to keep her from rolling sideways! Easy to beleive. I also read that all the body work is machined from giant single chunks of aluminum. Very interesting peice, some innovations, some purely show. I would like to see them work the bugs out! <br />Craig
