1939 Kissel Waterwitch 3/4 hp model 571.32. Who makes this carburetor? There is no name or info anywhere on it other than ALCOA which is probably the company that made the aluminum body.

It is a poppet style carb. I took it apart awhile ago and now I have 2 springs, a large and a small and I don't know where they go. Obviously at least one goes on the poppet valve. I can't find any info on this carb, diagram or anything. I'm thinking maybe one spring goes on the adjustment knob.

any assistance is greatly appreciated. DSC_7239.JPGDSC_7240.jpg

Not to discount the knowledge of the good people here, but if anybody knows the answer, he probably also hangs out at the Antique Outboard Motor Club's website The Antique Outboard Motor Club Website - AOMCI.org Go to the Ask-A-Member forum.

There even is a Waterwitch Special Interest Group within the club. You might want to consider joining the club.
