How many of you folks here are conformed multi-taskers?<br />It is an endeavour of which i am absolutely hopeless

My reason for starting this topic is, upon entering my nephew's room, i observed him speaking on the telephone,playing a video game and watching the television while doing his homework.<br />His answer to me was "I can multitask, no problem".

...phone conversation had no topic<br /><br />...video game has been played so many times, he doesn't even have to look at the screen and he could make it to the next level<br /><br />...tv show had even less information to be had than the conversation he was involved in<br /><br />...the homework has not been touched, he has learned nothing, but passed pleanty of time.<br /><br />How do I know this, I was that kid in your room. I could waste time like you wouldn't believe. <br /><br />I've put away the video games, I watch less TV and now I have Iboats. So I havn't chagned that much

Multi-tasking...I think it is an excuse for doing a half-a$$ed job at many things, instead of doing a good job at a single task.
