I have just bought a Larson dc-190 with a 175 H.P. mercruiser Alpha One 4.3 liter V6. When I plane with the trim in the down postion the boat lists to one side(passenger side). when the drive is trimmed up, the boat levels out. what could cause/fix this problem?

is the a hydrofoil on the drive ?<br /><br />all the way down is usally to low on the trim once you on plane its pushing the bow to deep in the water<br /><br />usally everytime you start and stop you will have to trim the drive to get the best ride for your current speed<br /><br />tommays

Look at the plate above the prop. Make sure both, left and right plates, are the same size and shape. Different sizes give that condition.
