Lifting 125 2 Stroke

What is the proper method for lifting an '03 125 2 stroke? I need to adjust the mount height.

On top of the flywheel is a 3 hole bolt pattern (I think it's 3) this is for installing a lifting eye, you can buy from Merc, or you can drill out the pattern on a piece of flat steel use an eye bolt in the center, or weld a ring to the flat. If I remember the threads are fine, if not metric. Lift from this point and the motor is perfectly balanced.

From memory, they're real close to 1/4" but I also remember they are not standard, either metric fine, or just fine. I made a pulling eye once myself and found bolts to fit from an old bolt bin, To find the specs on the bolts I'd call your local Merc dealer, heck even price the lifting eye while you have him on the phone. It may not be that much.
